How to Increase the Click Through Rate #CTR of Your Blog?

For most of the bloggers, it is always about the click through rate (CTR) of their blog. A good click through rate (CTR) helps to earn more from ad programs like AdSense.
Mainly, click through rate (CTR) = Ratio of the “no. of clicks on ads” to “no. of page views”.
So, high click through rate (CTR) means more clicks on ads in less page views.
In this post our main emphasis will be on discussing some of the best ways to increase the Click Through Rate (CTR) of a blog…

So here are some ways to increase your blog’s Click Through Rate:

1. Improve the Of Your Blog.
The very first thing that you are required to do is to improve the design of your blog. I’m not saying that you should change it altogether but you can start off by making a few minor changes and analyze the behavior of people on your blog. Try to bring a different theme and determine which worked best for better CTR. Finally, stick with the theme that is working fine and providing a good click through rate to your blog. Keep improving your design because this will give your readers a feeling that the administrator of the blog is interested in making it a better place.
2. Right Placement of AdSense.
To Increase your Adsense earnings, you must use Adsense on the right spot. Most of the bloggers could not be able to use Adsense on the right spot. They have Google Adsense account approved but they could not place it on the right spot.  Most of the bloggers could not be able to earn more then few bucks rather then having Adsense account and traffic due to right placement. Try to add Adsense on the places where users will see it clearly and click more.
3. The color scheme of your blog.
Whether you believe it or not, we humans have a color psychology. There are certain colors that attract us and then there are certain colors that will make you not-interested in a product. Human brain responds different on receiving signals about different colors. You should apply the same technique that you used for theme changing in your blog. Try different color combinations and record the behavior of audience. Finally, stick with a color scheme that suits your audience.
4. Your linking structure.
Click through rate of a blog is totally dependent on the linking structure of that blog. If your blog will have no proper linking structure then not only it will make your audience return back but it will also make search engine spiders confuse too. So, try to improve link structure of your blog and make sure that there are no broken links pointing towards your blog on the internet. There are two types of linking structures, one is on-site linking structure and the other is off-site linking structure. On-site links are those links that are placed on your blog and are pointing towards other posts and pages of your blog. Off-site links are those links that are coming towards your blog from other blogs or websites.
5. Less Distraction.
If a viewer on your blog will be distracted, he will definitely get bored and leave your blog as soon as possible. This is your responsibility to make your blog distraction less and make sure that no user gets distracted while finding something on your blog.
My Final Thoughts.
To conclude, I would suggest you to have a clear navigation of your website. You should try to have a good design and clean inner linking structure so that users can move around your website. And you can place Adsense ads where it can be seen easily.
